for Dogs Who Deserve the Best

I have been a devoted dog mum, breeder, and minder for so many years, and caring for animals has always been at the heart of my life and our family home.
Our journey truly began with Annie, our first beautiful Cocker Spaniel, alongside our much-loved Springer Spaniel Meg and Bailey, our gentle Dobermann boy, who instantly became Annie’s best friends. Over the years, we also welcomed two rescue cats from the RSPCA, creating a busy, loving home filled with dogs, puppies, cats, chickens and our three sons,oh & husband Chris. 
With my 15 years of experience working within the Veterinary Industry, I have gained extensive knowledge in canine health, breeding, nutrition, and wellbeing. Unfortunately, due to sudden ill health in 2019, I had to retire from a much loved job and completely adapt to a different way of life. Coming to terms with a condition that is not curable was incredibly difficult, but over time I realised I still wanted to do something that truly reflected my passion and experience with dogs.
That is how Waggy Tails was born — and the name could not have been more fitting for our beloved Cocker Spaniels. Their constantly wagging tails perfectly capture their personalities: happiness, excitement, affection, and sometimes a little neediness too.
Living with dogs through every stage of life — from playful puppies to elderly companions — inspired me to learn even more about canine nutrition, enrichment, and overall wellbeing. Puppies spend so much of their first year teething, so I wanted to ensure the treats and chews I was buying were safe, suitable, and beneficial for their needs. As I researched different food groups and treat options, I was amazed by the huge variety available and how much the industry continues to grow.
Since starting my journey in 2022, I have loved discovering new treats, natural chews, supplements, toys, and enrichment activities to help support dogs’ health and happiness. Building my business has also been a personal journey. Like many people starting something new, I experienced plenty of self-doubt, but after every event attended or order carefully packed, I realised I was creating something I could truly feel proud of. Chris has always been involved helping with the setting up & leaving me to it, but more recently he has traded at a few Farmers markets & a village Carnival of which he throughly enjoyed. Like me, he has a huge love of our beautiful spaniels & at puppy time, he is lying down on the floor with them playing. 

My goal has always been to provide products and care that support not only a dog’s health, but also the happiness and special bond they share with their owners.
